Agostina "Christine" (Martorana) Pace, 103, of Winter Springs, FL, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of October 14, 2023. She had been under the care of family and hospice.

Christine was born in Philadelphia, PA to Giuseppe and Antonia (Lorello) and was the oldest of eight brothers and sisters. The family moved to Rosenhayn, NJ where they owned 100 acres of vegetable farm. She helped her family and worked on the farm where her passion for all things gardening began. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Rosenhayn and St. Francis of Assisi in Vineland because faith was very important to her. She would always tell us she is not lucky, but always felt blessed. After working 30 years as a seamstress, she retired from DeRossi and Sons Clothing Factory in Vineland. She was very skilled with her sewing machine, and made many outfits and costumes over the years for her family.  Christine became a member of St. Mary of Magdalene in Altamonte Springs, FL where she taught cataclysm. She later became a member of St. Stevens Church in Winter Springs. Christine always loved cooking for her family and friends and returning to NJ every summer for as long as her health allowed her to travel.

Christine is survived by her bother Samuel Martorana, her sister Rose Zilnick, her son Joseph Pace and his wife Edith, her son Angelo Pace and his wife Joan, and her daughter Marianne Mahoney, her eight grandchildren Alexandra Pace Saltar and her husband Tony, Tyson Pace and his wife Jessica, Justen Pace and his wife Melissa, Angelo Pace Jr, Cherylann Celian, Charlie Mahoney and his wife Danielle, Brian Mahoney and his wife Carolyn, Christopher Mahoney, her 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 21st from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Wainwright Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Immediately following the service, we will have a repass at First United Methodist Church, 700 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360.
