Aida M. Torres. Age 70 of Vineland went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 17th 2014 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Aida was born in Utuado, P.R. to the late Cecilio and Auria (Velez) Torres and lived in Vineland most of her life. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Vineland. Prior to retirement, Aida was employed as a seamstress for various clothing companies. She enjoyed knitting, music, watching TV and sharing time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Jimenez-Velez in 2003. Survivors include one son, Victor M. Jimenez of Kissimmee, Fla., two daughters, Edna L. Jimenez and Aida M. Jimenez Ramos and her husband Juan, all of Vineland. Five Brothers, Anibal Torres of Vineland, Ivan Torres and wife Nidia of Orlando, Fla., Luis Torres and wife Carmen of Millville, Angel Torres and wife Nereida of Vineland and Hiram Torres and wife Juanita of Ocala, Fla. Four Sisters, Ana Cortez and husband Virgilio of Vineland, Rosaura Torres and husband Modesto of Utuado, P.R., Milgros Rivera and husband Felix of Fajardo, P.R. and Brunilda Torres of Ocala, Fla., Four Grandchildren, Yalitza, Victor Jr., Christian and Leticia. Also six great-grandchildren and many, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Funeral liturgy will be held Tuesday, January 21st at 10:00 AM from Divine Mercy Parish 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are Monday 7:00-9:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E.
