It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Albertina DeLeon, affectionately known as Tata, who passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2025, due to health complications.  She was 79 years old.

Albertina was born on November 21, 1945, in Utuado, Puerto Rico.  Her life was a beautiful example of devotion, compassion, and selflessness.  She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Miguel DeLeon Sr., mother-Pura Flores, father and cherished siblings that passed before her.

Albertina worked hard throughout her life, including time with John Pepper Food Corporation and Harrah's Hotel and Casino.  But her most treasured role was that of a caretaker and nurturer to her family.  She was truly family-oriented-always placing the needs of others before her own and spreading love in all she did.

She leaves behind her loving children, Miguel DeLeon Jr. (Zoraida) and Christine Abdalla (Tayseer); five grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and god children who all carry her legacy forward.  She is also survived by her many beloved siblings: Benny Rosado (Mary), Onesto Flores Sr. (Miriam), Elba Colon (Wilfredo), Edna Cardona (Jose), Orlando Flores Sr., Maria Flores-Gomez, Yolanda Victoria and William Flores (Delia).  Her bond with her siblings was strong, and family was always the heart of her world.

Albertina will be remembered for her warm heart, her generous spirit, and the deep love she gave to everyone around her.  She was, in every sense, an amazing woman whose memory will forever be a blessing.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather for the viewing from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Following the service, Albertina will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
