Alejandro Barreiro, age 73 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at home. Alejandro was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Pedro and Ramona (Pagan) Barreiro and lived in Vineland most of his life. Prior to retirement, he was a cook for Manischewitz Foods of Vineland for over 25 years. Alejandro truly enjoyed helping others and fishing and cherished his time with family and friends. Alejandro is survived by his loving wife, Juanita (Pratts) Barreiro, his 3 daughters; Nilsa Barreiro of Las Pedras, PR, Ramona Barreiro and husband Carlos Ortiz of Vineland and Jenixza Barreiro of Vineland. 2 step-children; Aida Pratts of Bridgeton and Hector Santiago of Vineland. He is also survived by 4 sisters, 2 brothers and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 30th at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
