Alice Jean Murray, age 72 of Birmingham, AL (formerly of Vineland) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at home.

Alice was born in West Virginia to Robert and Lillie Mae (Saddlefield) Minnis and lived in New York before moving to Philadelphia and later settling in Vineland.

Alice was employed as a nurse for Elwyn of New Jersey before moving to Birmingham.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles Edward Murray in 2012.

Survivors include her son, Michael Murray and his wife Michelle of Vineland, her daughter, Shondell Murray Scott and her husband Arthur of Birmingham, and her mother Lillie Mae Smith of Bronx, NY.

Also six grandchildren, one brother, one sister and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8 ^th at noon from Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Dennis Gunyon officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.

Family and friends may gather Friday beginning at 10:00 AM until Noon in the funeral home.
