Altagracia Morales-Montanez, age 73 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at South Jersey Extended Care, Bridgeton. Altagracia was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Arturo and Anna (Castro) Morales and was a resident of Vineland for the past 30 years. Prior to retirement, she worked as a server at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. Altagracia had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed cooking, music and sharing time with her family. Altagracia was predeceased by her husband Epiy Montanez. Altagracia is survived by her daughter, Maribel Santiago of Vineland and by her son, Phil Candelara of Albuquerque, N.M. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, including Kelsie Santiago and her fiance Joe Juliano of Vineland and by 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21st 2015 at 12:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 11:00 - 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
