Alvin Gonzalez, age 54 of Millville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Alvin was born in Manhattan, N.Y.C and lived most of his life in Brooklyn, New York. After moving to the Millville area, Alvin worked as a car salesman for various businesses, including U.A. Auto Sales of Vineland. He loved to sing Karaoke, especially at Jenny's in Millville, with "Piano Man" being his favorite to perform. He was a natural comedian and loved to make people laugh, the party was never officially started until Alvin arrived. He enjoyed watching T.V., loved all the police shows and of course The Simpsons and The Honeymooner's. Most of all, Alvin cherished the time he shared with his family and friends the most and his legacy will be remembered in the smiles of all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his mother Candida Gonzalez and by his four brothers; Ernesto "Cowboy" Gonzalez, Edwin Gonzalez, Billy Gonzalez and Freddy Gonzalez.

Alvin is survived by his father Ernesto Gonzalez and by his sister Lissette and her husband Ozzy Ramos and their daughters Amanda and Izabella Ramos. Along with his niece Jessica Gonzalez and by his nephews; Freddy Torres, Eric Gonzalez, Billy Gonzalez and Liam Gonzalez and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Alvin's funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville. The viewing will take place on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home and again on Monday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service.
