Amado Vazquez, age 77 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Amado was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Eduarda Pagan and Juan Vazquez and was a resident of Vineland for the past 42 years.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as a machinist with Grey's Ferry Brick Co. of Franklinville.  Amado was an avid fisherman and mechanic, and enjoyed baseball, gardening and playing dominoes.  Above all, Amado loved to share time with his family and friends.

Amado is survived by his loving wife Luz Vazquez of Vineland.  His 2 daughters; Vivian Vazquez and Beatrice Vazquez and his 2 sons; Daniel Vazquez and Carlos Vazquez and wife Kelly.  4 cherished grandchildren; Samir Alfaro and wife Patti, Tina Marrero and Josh and Annie Vazquez. He is also survived by 4 brothers, 5 sisters and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21 ^st at 6:30 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland.  Family and friends may gather from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  Burial will be private.
