Amparo Latorre, age 107 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday February 10, 2014 at home. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Celestina (Figueroa) Latorre, she was a Vineland resident for the past 13 years. Prior to retirements, Amparo worked as a cook for the governor of Puerto Rico for many years. She was a member of the Vida de Fe, Fountain of Life Church of Vineland and also attended the Lincoln Adult Day Center of Vineland. Amparo enjoyed crocheting, sewing and sharing time with her family. Amparo is survived by her son, Eusebio Caceres of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her 4 daughters; Gloria Caceres of Port Richie, Fl, Milagros Caceres and husband Phillip of Pennsylvania, Angelica Diaz of Kissimmee, Fl. And Amparo Otero of Vineland. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 14th at 10:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery.
