Ana Gonzalez, age 81 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2013 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Ana was born in Moca, Puerto Rico to the late Miguel and Juana (Mendez) Gonzalez and was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. Prior to retirement, Ana was a seamstress with DeRossi and Son Clothing and Crown Clothing companies for many years. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish of Vineland and enjoyed cooking, and gardening. Ana had an exceptional love of animals. Ana is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Juan Ayala of Vineland. Her 12 children, 9 daughters; Margarita Madera and husband Nelson of Millville, Ramona Rivera of Moca, PR, Ana "Lidia" Rivera and husband Rafael of Moca, PR, Candida "Canda" Muniz and husband Luis of Newfield, Josefina "Fina" Rivera of Vineland, Edna Ortiz and husband Ernesto, Carmen Cruz and husband Edwin, Minerva Gomez and husband William, and Maria "Mari Morales and husband Robert all of Vineland. 3 son; Adelfin "Tite" Rivera and wife Paschala, Victoriano "Victor" Rivera and wife Rosa and Angel Rivera and wife Maribel, all of Vineland. 40 Grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Ana is also survived by her sister, Reinalda Gonzalez and husband Victor of Aguadilla, PR, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Msgr. Victor Muro officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
