Angela Gonzalez-Navas, age 82 of Vineland went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland. Angela was born in Lares, Puerto Rico to the late Antero and Carmen (Vega) Gonzalez and was a Vineland resident for the past 6 years. She was a homemaker and member of the First Spanish Church of God of Vineland. Angela enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and sharing time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Rev. Miguel Navas in 1982. Angela is survived by her 2 sons; Rev. Efrain Navas and his wife Rev. Elba of Chicago, Il. and Ruben Navas and his wife Angie of Orlando, Fl. 5 daughters; Rev. Ligmi Navas and her husband Rev. Jorge Mejias of Elizabeth, NJ, Rev. Gladys Navas and her husband Rev. Pascual Robles of Vineland, Ruth Navas and her husband Rev. Edwin Ortiz of Patterson, NJ, Mary Navas of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and Evelyn Navas and her husband Renaldo Rivera of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, 2 brothers, 7 sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the First Spanish Church of God, 557 N. Mill Rd. Vineland. Viewing will be from 6:00-7:00pm at the church. Burial will be in Seorial Memorial Cementerio, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
