Angelica Velez-Ramos, age 91 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Bishop McCarthy Residence. Angelica was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Maria (Soto) Ramos, she resided in Vineland for the past 9 years. Angelica was a homemaker and attended the Spanish Presbyterian Church of Vineland. Angelica was predeceased by her husband Simon Velez. Angelica is survived by her loving son Raul Velez Sr. and wife Lucy of Vineland. 2 grandsons; Raul Velez Jr. of Vineland and Richard Velez and wife Christine of Upper Deerfield Twp. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and her sister Sarafina Mendez of Miami, Fl. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Freddy Jara officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. The viewing will be on Thursday evening (tonight) from 6:00-8:00 pm and again on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am at the Funeral Home.
