October 31, 1924 – June 7, 2017
Angelina "Lena" Maria (Bracaliello) Van Buren-Naulty, age 92 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving husband and her two daughters.
Lena was born in Malaga, NJ to the late Raffaele and Angelina Maria (Feo) Bracaliello and resided in Vineland for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Lena worked as the account manager with Horner-Mack Trucks of Vineland for over 20 years. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vineland and served as the Bell Choir Director, the Clerk of Session and also the Treasurer of the Church. Lena was a lifelong musician, playing the piano and saxophone, and often lent her talent as a vocal soloist for weddings and church services. She enjoyed traveling to places such as Europe, The Middle East, South America and various tropical islands. At home, Lena loved to garden. Family and friends were very important to Lena; she especially loved to visit with her daughters and grandchildren in California.
Lena was predeceased by her first husband, Austin W. Van Buren in 2001 and by her son-in-law, Maurice R. Hauser in 2015.
Lena is survived by her husband of 13 years, Ronald A. Naulty of Vineland; her two daughters, Barbara (Van Buren) Hauser of Palos Verdes Estates, CA and Lois Van Buren of Santa Cruz, CA.; her three grandchildren, Austin Twohig and wife Brenda of Santa Cruz, CA, Sean-Tayah Hiwe and wife Christina Wegren of Duluth, MN., and Jeff Hauser and wife Ashley of Pasadena, CA. Lena is also survived by her two great-grandchildren, Thiago and Baily.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13 th at 12:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 – 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
