Antonia Alvarez-Torres, age 85 of Vineland, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Adon Alvarez and Martina Torres, she was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Antonia worked as a food packer with Progresso Foods of Vineland for over 32 years. She always worked hard for her children and fought till the end. Antonia adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening and singing along with music, gardening and sharing time with her family.

She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

Antonia will be forever loved and missed by her 3 children. Her 2 daughters; Nancy Alvarez of Vineland, Maria Rivera and Edgar Acosta of Vineland and by her son Ramond Rivera and his wife, of North Carolina. Her step-children; Iris Rivera and Reinaldo Rivera, along with 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
