Antonio Soto, age 82 of Vineland (formerly of Utuado, P.R.) went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 3rd at Capital Health Medical Center, Trenton. Antonio was born in Utuado, P.R. to the late Juan and Luisa (Acebedo) Soto and lived in Vineland most of his life. Prior to retirement, Antonio was a Maintenance Man for the Vineland Housing Authority and previously the New York City Housing Authority for a total of 45 years. He was an active member of First Spanish Church of God and studied the word of God. He loved playing and competing with his guitar. He also was a composer of music. Antonio was an artist, enjoyed playing dominoes, and visiting people at the hospital. Antonio and his wife Maria volunteered at the Senior Community Center. Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Maria (Caraballo) Soto of Vineland, 4 Step-Daughters, Judy, Daisy, Jeannie and Sonia. Also by 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10th at 11:00 AM from First Spanish Church of God 557 N. Mill Rd. Vineland, with Rev. Pascul Robles officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 PM and again Wednesday 10:00-11:00 AM all from the Church.
