Aurelia Marie Pierce, 77 of Vineland, NJ passed away peacefully on November 25, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Born and raised in Bridgeton, NJ, Aurelia also lived in Egg Harbor Township, NJ and worked for 20 years in the casino industry as a Secretary at the former Trump Plaza Casino and later at the Claridge Casino. Aurelia enjoyed travelling on cruises, exercising and sharing time with her family. She was predeceased by her ex-husband Asa H. Pierce and sister Gail Miller-Whyte. Aurelia is survived by a daughter Sherri Pierce-Staton of Chicoppe, Mass., two sons Aurelius Pierce of Pompano Beach, Fl. and Asa H. Pierce Jr. of Long Branch, NJ. A grandson Antoine Pierce and granddaughter Aurelia Pierce and a newborn great grandson Ramon Alex Pierce along with a niece, two nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 5th at 10:00 am with Pastor James Whyte officiating, at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 East Landis Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Interment will follow in Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton, NJ. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the funeral home.
