Barbara Ann Lugo (nee Girone) also known as "Bobbi" passed away on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 at 79 years old in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, NJ, with her family by her side.

Bobbi was born, raised and lived her entire life in Vineland, NJ. She was a proof reader for The Vineland Times Journal, an interior designer, an Executive Secretary for the Army National Guard, and worked in Human Resources at The Vineland State School.

She was predeceased by her mother, Ginevra "Jean" Tomasso (nee Del Beato) born in Montereale, Italy; stepfather Matthew Tomasso; father Genero Girone; grandfather Riziero Giuseppe "Joseph" Del Beato born in Amatrice, Italy; grandmother Amelia D'Alessandro who passed away from The Spanish Flu; sister Jeannette Ciccacci (nee Girone); and sister Marie "Dolly" Williams (nee Girone).

She is survived by her daughters Lisa R. Elliott (nee Matos) of Millville; Shawn L. Matos of Vineland; Brigitte L. Brough (nee Lugo) of Wilmington, DE; and son, Tony Lugo, Jr. of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Harris (nee Elliott) and husband Lorenzo; Brandon Elliott and partner Kristina; and five great grandchildren. Finally, also her grandfurbabies Rocky and Siena, and friends and family in New Jersey and Florida.

Mom lived a life of strength and determination, despite the several hardships she endured over her life. She had a generous and charitable heart to those who knew her well, and a deep love for her family. Mom you were much loved and will be missed.

A graveside funeral service will be held privately at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
