Barry S. Durand, age 72, of Vineland, passed away on Thursday April 24, 2014 at home. Barry was born in Vineland to the late Victor and Marie (Gatier) Durand. He was a lifelong Vineland resident and attend Vineland Public Schools. Prior to retirement, Barry worked as a lineman for the Vineland Electric Company for over 40 years. He was a member of I.B.E.W. #210 of Vineland. He was predeceased by his wife Anna (Biscoglio) Durand in 2007. Barry is survived by his 5 children, 2 sons; Barry Durand Jr. and wife Melissa of Somerdale and Dennis Durand of Magnolia, 3 daughters; Margaret Neff of Blackwood, Vicki McGuire and husband Kevin of Stratford and Kelly Durand and Shira of Wyncote, PA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Karis and Sosie Neuberger, Julia Neff, Victoria McGuire, Kevin McGuire Jr., Michael McGuire, Craig Durand and Nicole Durand. Also his sister, Kathryn Durand of Vineland and his niece Christine Windfelder of Mullica Hill. Friends and family may gather on Friday, May 2nd from 10:30-11:30 am for a memorial service at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Inurnment will be private.
