Benjamin Capolingua, age 91, danced his way home on March 15, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 23, 1933, he had a love of baseball and football, being a diehard Eagles fan and a Philly fanatic. His true passion was dancing, earning him the title of the king of the hop. Benjamin proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army, dedicating 8 years of his life to service. He was honored to be a veteran and loved his country deeply. An avid churchgoer, Benjamin enjoyed working for the church and helping his congregation in any way he could.

He is predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Mary Capolingua; his siblings, Tony Capolingua, Mike Capolingua, and Rose Xavier; his son, Anthony "Dino" Capolingua; and his sons-in-law, Earl Crane and Don Mugford.

Benjamin is survived by his partner, Josephine, and his five daughters: Theresa Crane, Rosemary Mugford, Jeanine Daviso, Stacy Curley, and Cheryl Capolingua. He also leaves behind 11 wonderful grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be held at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. on Friday, March 21st from 10:00 – 12:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Following the service, Benjamin will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
