Beny Perez Sr. age 62 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2024.

Beny was born on April 14, 1962 in Vineland, NJ to his father Florencio Perez-Vega and mother Elba Roman. He was a hard worker who was previously employed by Lattimer Inc. as a machinist. He also enjoyed his side hobby working with irrigation.

Beny enjoyed sharing time with his grandsons and loved having the title of "Pop-Pop". He enjoyed fishing with his best friend Ralph and looked forward every year to the fishing trips with his brothers and nephews. Beny was always the light of the party because he was the best person to pull pranks on. Even though he was stubborn at times, Beny was loved by many.

Beny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Perez. His daughter Melissa Gurdgiel and her husband Jason, his son Beny Perez Jr. and his grandsons Gilbert Torres Jr. and Mason Gurdgiel, all of Vineland. 3 brothers; Junior Perez Sr. (Sandy) and Alfred Perez (Wendy) of Vineland and Frank Perez (Lynn) of Glassboro, NJ. 3 sisters; Marta Thompson (Bob) and Maria Grosso (Tony) of Vineland and Margarita Bennett (Ron) of Deerfield, NJ. Beny will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Florencio Perez-Vega and Elba Roman.

Home going services will take place on Friday, September 13th at 3:00 pm at the Chestnut Assembly of God Church, 2554 E. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. The viewing will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, prior to the service.
