Bernard John Olivio, age 86 of Vineland passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 in Veterans Memorial Home of Vineland. Bernard was born in Deerfield Township to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (D'Amour) Olivio and lived in Rosehayn. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW2. Prior to retirement, he was a truck driver for Ed Campbell Trucking and later E.P. Henry for many years. He was co-owner of T & O Greenhouse on the Bridgeton-Millville Pike for a few years and later was co-owner of S & O Pallet Co. of Vineland for a few years. He loved to work in his yard, taking care of his lawn and flowers he planted around the house. He had a vegetable garden every year and gave away vegetables to family, friends and neighbors. He enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles. Bernard was predeceased by sisters, Jenny Olivio and Katherine Favretto and brothers, George, John, Joseph, Daniel and Tony Olivio. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Josephine (Oswald) Olivio of Vineland. Two daughters, Debra Sidwell of Boca Raton, Fla. And JoAnne Wells and her husband Cornell of Vineland. 3 Grandchildren, Taylor Wells, Ashley Sidwell and William Sidwell. 2 Sisters, Marian Capaldi and her husband Louis of Port Norris and Rosemary Gaburo and her husband Morris of Bridgeton. Sister-in-law, Stella Tedesco of Millville and brother-in-law, Anthony Oswald of Millville. Also several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great nephews. Funeral liturgy will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:15 AM from Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours are from 9:30-11:00 AM in the CHURCH prior to the liturgy.
