Beverly Ann (Giordano) Smith, age 63 of Vineland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, after a long and valiant battle with M.S.A.

Bev was born in Vineland to the late Nicholas and Angelina (Regenelli) Giordano and was a lifelong resident of Vineland.  She was a graduate of OLMA high school with the Class of 1971.  Prior to her retirement, Bev was employed by Newfield National Bank for several years before working in the City of Vineland's tax collector's office for more than 20 years.  She was also the secretary for the V.B.A. and a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish.  Bev was an avid fan of many sports and enjoyed the beach, listening to Elvis and Tina Turner, and all things Mickey Mouse.  With a heart of gold, Bev loved to laugh and be in the company of friends and family, she was an ace at playing cards and cherished time shared with her grandchildren.

Bev is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Marshall L. Smith.  Her 2 children; Daniel M. Smith and wife Sarah (Ruberti) and Dana M. Smith and her longtime boyfriend Walter Carter, all of Vineland.  Her 5 grandchildren; Nicholas M. Smith of PA, Samantha J. Smith, Olivia M. Smith, Joshua D. Smith and Alani R. Carter, all of Vineland.  Bev is also survived by her 3 siblings; Carmela M. Weber and husband John, Paula Peale and husband Chick and Michael Giordano, all of Vineland. Also by her 2 brothers-in-law; Bill Smith and Vernon and wife Debbie Smith, all of Vineland, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bev was predeceased by her son Nicholas D. Smith in 2008, her brother Frank N. Giordano in 2010 and by her mother-in-law Jean Smith in 2003.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 14 ^th at 11:00 am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore the Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Rd. Vineland.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  An evening viewing will be on Sunday, Nov. 13 ^th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland and again on Monday morning from 9:00 – 10:45 am at the CHURCH.
