Blanche M. (Ashworth) Greensmith age 81 of Laurel Lake, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at home. Blanche was born in Vineland to the late Frank and Elsie (Knoll) Ashworth and lived in Pittsgrove most of her life before moving to Laurel Lake over twenty years ago. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a Glass Packer for Wheaton Glass Co. of Millville for 30 years. Blanche enjoyed bingo and sharing time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Greensmith Jr. in 1995. Survivors include 3 daughters, Patricia Cline and Doris Hutchinson of Laurel Lake and Connie Greensmith and companion James Wood of Newport, NJ. Two sons, Joseph E. Greensmith III and his companion Sharon Stanfa of Newfield and James H. Greensmith and wife Anne of Pittsgrove. Also her sister, Laura Hough and husband Rick of Newfield, very dear friend Shirley Dayton of Elmer and 15 grandchildren, 34 Great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tonight, Monday June 8th at 8:00 PM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Kenneth Wilford Jr. officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation hours will began at 7:00 PM on Monday in the funeral home. Donations in Blanche's memory may be made to the SPCA 1244 N.
