Carl R. Blanchet, age 98 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland.

Carl was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti to the late Rodolphe and Corine (Vilmenay) Blanchet. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1962 and has been a resident of Vineland since 1972. Prior to his retirement, Carl was employed by Kimble Glass. He was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish and enjoyed gardening and walking.

He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Blanchet in 2017, his brothers, Willy and Renaud "Naudy" Blanchet and by his sister, Sister Gerard "Nanine".

Carl is survived by his 6 loving children; Reginald Blanchet, Carl Blanchet Jr., William Blanchet, Michaelle Darwish, Yanick Poulain and Elizabeth Wysmuller. Along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19th at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, from 9:30-10:30 am. The Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will be private.
