Carlos Alberto Maldonado, known to his loved ones as Charlie, passed away on September 16, 2023, in Vineland, NJ, at the age of 73. He was born on March 3, 1950, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, to Ermelindo and Amparo Maldonado. Carlos was a loving father, a dedicated hardworking man who valued his family above all else.

Carlos had a passion for Nascar and rarely missed a race. He loved being out on the water, fishing whenever he had the chance, and enjoyed swimming in the ocean. He lived by a strict moral code, always striving to be a good person and standing firm in his beliefs.

Survived by his elder sister, Gaudiosa "Gavy" Maldonado, his brother Ermelindo "Jr" Maldonado, his brother Raphael Maldonado, his son Carlos Maldonado and spouse Andrea Maldonado, his daughter Alison Maldonado-Brown and spouse Devin Brown, Carlos leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Desmarai, Devin Jr, Kiara Brown, Netalya, Carlos, Dalton Maldonado, and Kenneth and Jordan Kennison. Carlos was also blessed with a great-great-grandchild, Kross'Xander Ives.

Carlos proudly served in the Marines for four years. After his military service, he briefly worked for HESS before finding employment at Casa Di Bertacchi, where he served as a Shift Supervisor for over 25 years. Upon retiring in 2004, Carlos returned to work at Buona Vita Inc. until his second retirement.

In his free time, Carlos enjoyed swimming, fishing, and maintaining his property. He cherished moments spent with his siblings and his family. Nascar races were always a highlight for him.

Carlos Alberto Maldonado will be remembered as a loving father, a dedicated worker, and a man of strong values. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be missed dearly.

The funeral service for Carlos will be held at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, located at 1024 E Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360, on Saturday, September 23rd at 3:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00-3:00pm, prior to the service. Interment will be private.
