Carmen Gloria Echevarria, age 80 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3 ^rd , 2016 in Thomas Jefferson Medical Center, Philadelphia.

Carmen was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Julio and Regalada (Roman) Ramirez and she lived in Vineland the past 15 years. Carmen was a home Health-Aide for ten years. She was a member of the Rock of Salvation Church, Vineland. Carmen enjoyed music, dancing, cooking and sharing time with family and friends.

Carmen was predeceased by her husband, Ignacio Echevarria, her son, Joseph Echevarria, her daughter, Elizabeth Echevarria and two grandsons, Anthony and Adrian.

Survivors include her four loving daughters, Darlene Toro and her husband Antonio of Vineland, Magda Ocasio and her husband Angel of Vineland, Mayra Thompson-Echevarria and her husband Christopher of Brooklyn and Carmensita Echevarria and her husband Javier Torres of Brooklyn. Also, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 sister, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the Rock of Salvation Church 513 Grape St. Vineland with Rev. Benjamin Ocasio officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation hours will be held Thursday 7:00-9:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00-10:15 AM, in the CHURCH.
