Carmen Antonia Guzman-Maestre

July 3, 1937- December 26, 2025

Carmen Antonia Guzman-Maestre, age 88 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, Turnersville. Carmen was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio Maestre-Rivera and Carmen Maria Torres-Rullan. She was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. Carmen was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and attending the Casinos. Carmen is survived by 4 loving children; Maria Velazquez and husband Pablo of Vineland, Miguel Guzman Jr. of Vineland, Evelyn Guzman of Vineland and Migdalia Marcano and husband Fred of Williamstown, NJ. Her 12 beloved grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and by her sisters Maria Luisa, Francisca, Herminia, Margarita, Maria Isabel and 3 brothers, Miguel, Francisco, and Jaime Luis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Carmen was preceded in death by her granddaughter; Marilyn Velazquez and her sister Celina Maestre-Torres.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Interment will follow the service at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 am-11:00 am at the funeral home.

Carmen Antonia Guzman-Maestre, de 88 años, de Vineland, fue a estar con el Señor el Viernes 26 de diciembre de 2025 en el Hospital Jefferson Washington Township, Turnersville. Carmen nació en Utuado, Puerto Rico, hija del fallecido Antonio Maestre-Rivera y Carmen María Torres-Rullan. Fue residente de Vineland durante la mayor parte de su vida. Carmen era una ama de casa dedicada y disfrutaba de la jardinería, tejer y asistir a los casinos. Carmen deja cuatro hijos amorosos; María Velázquez y su marido Pablo de Vineland, Miguel Guzmán Jr. de Vineland, Evelyn Guzmán de Vineland y Migdalia Marcano y su esposo Freddie de Williamstown, NJ. Sus 12 queridos nietos y 21 bisnietos, así como sus hermanas María Luisa, Francisca, Herminia, Margarita, María Isabel y 3 hermanos, Miguel, Francisco y Jaime Luis. También le sobreviven numerosos sobrinas, sobrinos y primos. Carmen fue precedida en la muerte por su nieta; Marilyn Velázquez y su hermana Celina Maestre-Torres.

El servicio funerario se celebrará el miércoles 31 de diciembre de 2025 a las 11:00 h en la funeraria Wainwright-Bernhardt, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. El entierro seguirá al servicio en el Cementerio del Sagrado Corazón, Vineland. Familiares y amigos pueden reunirse de 10:00 a 11:00 en la funeraria.
