Carmen Morales , age 72, of Vineland, passed away and went with the lord on Wednesday, Nov 28, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

She was born in Orcovis Puerto Rico to the late Jorge and Lucia (Sanchez) Rodriguez and was a resident of Vineland NJ for over 50 years. She retired from Progresso Quality Foods of Vineland after 43 years of service.

We lost our best friend, our queen, and our confidante. Mom, you've shown us the true meaning of love, a love that is pure and unconditional. You will forever be our best teacher and we will gleam at every speck of wisdom you've left us with. Today we understand the true meaning of peace and sorrow. You have taught us everything we know and stand for and have raised us to be strong and independent. Thank you for everything, and we mean everything. For teaching us to smile in the face of adversity and to believe in ourselves no matter what anyone says. We can only hope to one day become half the person you are; strong, beautiful, and intelligent.

She was predeceased by her husband, Pedro Morales in 2015.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Neilsa Cordero and two loving sons, Antonio Rodriguez and Alex Morales, along with many grandchildren.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the Divine Mercy Parish 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland on Friday from 7:00-9:00 PM, and again on Saturday in CHURCH beginning at 9:00 AM.
