With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carole Marie (Wolf) Binkley, on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the age of 79, after an extended illness. Born on August 28, 1945, Carole was raised in Vineland and graduated from Vineland High School in 1963. After several years working as a secretary, she followed her passion for hairdressing and became a beautician. In 1986 she opened the Grande Finale Beauty Salon in Elmer and was in business for over 30 years. She loved her work and created beauty for herself and many others. Her passions extended to the kitchen as well. Carole was an avid cook and baker whose meals and desserts were highly coveted, a testament to the love and care she put into nourishing her family and dear friends. Known for her infectious zest for life, Carole always encouraged others to keep their chin up and always believed that better days were ahead.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband Donald Binkley Sr., parents, Harry Wolf Sr. and Helen (Hackett) Wolf, her sister, Irene Wolf, and her brother, Harry Wolf Jr. She was also preceded in death by her beloved dogs, Yaya, Pookie, and Tawni Amber, who brought her endless joy.
Carole is survived by her son, Michael Lodovico and daughter-in-law Margarita of Discovery Bay, CA, and step-son Donald Binkley Jr. of Pittsgrove Township. She is also survived by her brother Gilbert Wolf and sister-in-law, Rosalie of Vineland along with her sister-in-law Donna Wolf of Hammonton. She was a cherished grandmother to three grandchildren Caitlyn, Kyle, and Kayla, three step-grandchildren TJ, Taylor, and Jessica, and two step-great grandchildren Serenity and Jace. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Carole's legacy is one of love, resilience, and a dedication to lifting others. She had a remarkable ability to brighten the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A graveside service to celebrate Carole's life will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 11:00 am at Siloam Cemetery 550 N. Valley Ave., Vineland, with Pastor Heather Sugden of The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer presiding. In honoring her memory, we invite family and friends who knew her to share their stories and find comfort in one another.
