Carolyn B. (Potts) Herscher, age 57 of Vineland, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at home. Carolyn was born in Atlantic City to the late Edward E. and Caroline (Walch) Potts and was a resident of Vineland for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Carolyn worked as a foreman for Owens-Illinois Inc., Kimble Glass Division of Vineland for 21 years. Most recently she was employed by WaWa for 10 years. Carolyn loved to go to the beach and fishing with her husband George. She also enjoyed playing Mahjong and sharing time with her family and friends. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, George L. Herscher of Vineland. Her daughter, Katelynn Herscher and her son, Ethan Herscher, both of Vineland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carolyn was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Romano in 1997 and by her step-son, George L. Herscher Jr. in 2012. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, with Rev. Susan Flicker officiating.
