Catherine S. Coslop, age 81 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Eagleview Nursing Center, Pittsgrove. Catherine was born in East Orange, NJ to the late Louis W. and Georgina (York) Rissland. She was a resident of Palmerton, PA for most of her life before moving to Vineland in 1981. Catherine was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran Redeemer Church of Vineland. She enjoyed writing poetry, dancing and volunteering for her church and the Cumberland County Hospice. The greatest joy in Catherine's life was being a loving mother to her 5 children. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank H. Scholz in 1983. Catherine is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 23 years, Louis Coslop of Vineland. Her 2 sons; Frank H. Scholz Jr. (Kim) of Rochester, N.Y. and Paul W. Scholz (Ann) of Fulton, MD. Her 3 daughters; Ellen C. Stevens (Jack) of West End, N.C., Elizabeth S. Paugh (Steve) of Martin City, Montana and Mary S. Austin (Patrick) of Bridgewater, NJ. 12 grandchildren; Adam, Melissa, Jared, Suzanne, Rachel, Lauren, Meghan, Kara, Clara, Peter, Eric and Mark. 3 great-grandchildren; Anna, Lucia and Jacob. Her sister, Ruth Kreuter (Henry) of Tewksbury, NJ. And also by her 3 step children; Barbara Lepore, Phyllis Payne and Eric Coslop. 11 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday July 15, 2012 at St. James Lutheran Church, 400 Columbia Ave. Pitman, NJ, with Rev. Daniel R. Leslie officiating. Burial will be private.
