Catherine Dove, (nee Eaton) passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Born in Vineland, NJ in 1932, Catherine was a graduate of Vineland High School with the Class of 1950, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Prior to her retirement, Catherine worked as an Executive Secretary with Heinemann Electric. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Red Cross, InterFaith Housing and the former Eastern State School and Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents, Caroline and William Eaton; by her husband, James R. Dove Jr and by her son Michael Rinelli and her brothers, William, Kenneth and Albert Eaton.

Catherine will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Anthony and Jason Rinelli and Amy Dove. Her sisters-in-law; Diana Eaton and Dolly Sadell, and her daughter-in-law Sally Messmore. She is also survived by her extended family members, Robert Dove and Colleen Dove.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 23rd at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am, prior to the service.

Interment will be held privately at Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Catherine may be made to the ALS Association or the Parkinson's Association.
