Cecilie Abercrombie-Crescenzo, lovingly known as "Cessie," passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, surrounded by her devoted family. She was born on March 22, 1962, at Elmer Hospital in Elmer, New Jersey.
She is preceded in death by her father, Carlos Cecil Abercrombie; her mother, Beatrice Elizabeth Halter-Abercrombie; her twin brother, Carlos Cecil Abercrombie Jr.; and her brother, Stonie Ward Abercrombie.
Cecilie is survived by her husband and companion, Daniel Crescenzo; her son, Brandon Luis-Diaz; and her treasured grandchildren, Aniah, Caden, and Rowan. She also leaves behind her loving sisters; Melodie Mottola (Ralph), Lissa Cavoli (Randy), and Carla Abercrombie.
Her memory lives on through her nieces and nephews; Melissa Bianchi (Rob), Ralphie Mottola, Nicholas Cavoli, Patrick Kilkenny, James Kilkenny (Amanda), and Shana Moore, as well as her adored great-nieces and nephews; Mia, Jack, Lily, McKenzie & LJ, and Santino.
Cessie's heart extended to her feline companions, Jubilee and Batman, who brought her immense joy and comfort.
Raised in Vineland, NJ, Cecilie dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a licensed LPN at the Vineland Developmental Center. Despite facing many years of serious health challenges, she remained steadfast in her strength and grace.
Cecilie found peace in gardening, quiet moments with her cats, and the warmth of family. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
