Charlene Rita Masilotti (nee Pernazza), age 86, of Vineland, NJ, passed away on February 26, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Charlene was born in Camden, NJ on May 13, 1936 and raised in Vineland, where she was a lifetime resident. Charlene was the daughter of the late George and Rita (Clarkson) Pernazza.

Charlene is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, Donald D. Masilotti of Vineland. Three children; daughter Melanie A. Galagan of Vineland, a granddaughter and caretaker Nichole Rada, and grandson Peter; son and daughter-in-law David J and Nuvia Masilotti of DE, and five grandchildren Megan, David, Jr., Daniel, Isabella and Sara; and daughter and son-in-law Donna and Oswald Pedrera of AZ. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren EJ Rada and Peter Galagan, Jr. and by her sister Lois Cruz of Vineland.

She was predeceased by her twin brother George T. Pernazza Jr., her sister Diana Pancheri and brothers-in-law Lee Pancheri and Tony Cruz.
Charlene graduated from Vineland High School in 1954. She worked for Prudential and Sears and Roebuck. After her marriage in 1956, she was a mother and wife and raised her children. Later, Charlene worked in the family business, Cumberland Cleaning Co. for over 26 years, alongside her husband, until their retirement in 1997. Charlene enjoyed going to the beach in Wildwood, NJ, and spent 24 winters in Honolulu, HI after she retired. She was an avid reader, a devoted Catholic and enjoyed painting, flower arranging and caring for her miniature schnauzers.

Charlene's Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 6th at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charlene may be made to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360.
