Charles M. Boozer Jr., age 56 of Millville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 10, 2017.

Charles was born in Vineland to the late Charles M. and Nettie R. (Gingham) Boozer Sr.  He was a resident of Vineland for most of his life prior to moving to Millville 2 years ago.  Charles was a graduate of Vineland High School with the Class of 1979 and worked as a cook with the Garden Terrace Buffett of Atlantic City.  He was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church of Millville and enjoyed cooking and all sports, especially basketball.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Louisa (Rivera) Boozer of Millville.  His 6 children; Charles "Chaz" Boozer III, Jamal Boozer and wife Chanelle, Shabazz Boozer, Yishaki Boozer, Shaheed Black and Rafael Torres and wife Ashley.  He is also survived by 2 brothers; Aarondean Gingham and Carl Boozer, 1 sister, Sonya Thompson, along with 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18 ^th at 11:00 am at the Cornerstone Community Church, 911 Church St. Millville.  Interment will follow in Fordville Cemetery, Bridgeton.  Family and friends may gather from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Church.
