Cheryl V. Townsend (Donna), age 58 of Vineland, NJ passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born in Hanover, Jamaica to Melda A. Whitmore and Jasper A. Crooks. She attended Cousin's Cove Primary School and later went to Green Island Secondary School. In July of 1981 Cheryl migrated to the United States.

Those who had the pleasure to know her only had kind words to say about her; they remember her warmth and affection towards them. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed reading her bible and expressed her faith through her love and compassion for others.

She was preceded in death by her sister Vinette Headed. She leaves behind her parents Melda Whitmore and Jasper Crooks, children, Ronald Williams and Kayla Townsend, sisters, Winsome Ricketts, Dawn Crooks, and Cassandra Crooks, brothers, Paul Bridge, Phillip Bridge, and Jason Crooks, her granddaughter, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 East Landis Avenue Vineland NJ 08360 on Saturday April 23 ^rd , 2022 at 11am. Burial will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield. A viewing will be held Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM prior to the service.
