Cliff departed this life unexpectedly on July 29, 2020. He is lovingly remembered by his Wife, Bunni Nealer-Hasenfus; Son, Justin (Susan); Stepchildren: Heather, Amber, and Gilbert; Grandchildren: Fox, Shea and Aryana, David and Samarah; Sister, Debbi (Fran) Pozzi; Uncle, Don Hasenfus; Aunt, Joan Taggart; Cousin, Chris Applegate; Nephews: Frank (Rhonda), Mike (Megan); Niece, Lauren (Robert); Great Nephews: Brandon, AJ, and Michael; and Great Niece, Laura. Cliff leaves behind close friends: Jim Brearton, Nina Evangelista, Mike, Debbie, and Maggie Heinsman and is pre-deceased by his parents (Joseph and Laura) and dear friend Dan Watson.
Cliff graduated from Pennsauken High School Class of 1970 and held a B.A. in Law and Justice from Rowan University class of 1976. He retired from NJ Casino Control Commission and continued working in private security for several years. Over the past three years, "Farmer Cliffy" enjoyed his mini farm of ducks, pigs, dogs, cats, his beloved feline Ghoulette, and a goat who sorely miss his presence.
Cliff was passionate about baseball and a devoted Phillies and Yankees fan. He was a lifelong scholar of baseball statistics and an avid Baseball Heroes Chronology "Stat-O-Matic" devotee.
