Constance "Connie" Tomasso age 92 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, January 8th 2016 in the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland.

Connie was born in Vineland to the late Alfred and Edith (Gruss) Lera and was a lifelong Vineland resident. Connie graduated from Vineland High School and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection-Trinity Episcopal Church of Vineland. Connie enjoyed gardening, listening and playing music, traveling and sharing time with family and friends. Connie also enjoyed making ceramic gifts for family and friends while residing in the Veterans Home. Most of all, her family was the most important part of her life and family gatherings at home will always be remembered fondly.

She made everyone happy, and her eight children were the world to her. Connie was a compassionate and understanding listener, with others and friends, in a special loving way she made you feel better. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Connie was predeceased by her loving husband, George Tomasso Jr., her sister, Joyce Piovano, her brother-in-law, Richard Tomasso and sister-in-law, Louise Tomasso.

Connie is survived by her eight devoted and loving children;  Georgeanne McClennen and husband David, Steve Tomasso and wife Gaye, Nancy Tomasso, Joyce Nelson and husband Carl, Keith Tomasso and wife Melanie, Patricia Tyler and husband Danny, David Tomasso and wife Tiffany and Brian Tomasso and wife Penny. Connie also is survived by her 11 grandchildren, Dawn McClennen (Tom), Brian McClennen (Tracy), Christopher Tomasso (Michelle), Jason Tomasso, Amy Ramierez, Kurt Tomasso, Krystal Tomasso, Daniel Tyler (Jen), Taylor Tomasso, Morgan Tomasso and Eve Hollifield. Eight great-grandchildren, Abigail, Christopher, Nicolena, Dylan, Chloe, Alana, Kaylee, and Skyler. Two sisters-in-law, Evaline Goldstein and Marie Tomasso and her brother-in-law, Dominic Piovano. And by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11th 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Ellen Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
