Corleda R. Torres Hayes, 67 passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren, husband and relatives on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Corleda was affectionately known as Cori to family and friends.

Cori was born on November 17, 1956 in St. Louis Missouri to the late Archibald and Joyce (Mitchell) Perry. Cori was the middle child, the sister to Archie and Cherly. She was the second oldest daughter. Cori later moved to Vineland, NJ with her family. She attended Vineland High School where she won the 1976 Homecoming Queen. Cori went on to graduate from Pennco Tech as an EKG Technician.  Cori then obtained employment with Vineland's Inspira Health for over 20 years before retiring in 2021.

Cori will be remembered for her beauty queen smile, contagious laugh, being the family "doctor" and her love of flowers. Cori was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She remarried later on in life in 2018 to her husband Ronald E. Hayes and lived together in Bridgeton, NJ. Cori enjoyed gardening, decorating her home, traveling with her husband and making memories with her grandchildren.

Cori was preceded into heaven by her parents, Archibald and Joyce Perry and her nephew Archie Perry. Cori is survived by her husband Ronald E, Hayes, her four children Cortney Torres, Miguel Torres Sr. (Jeannie), Brittni Clark (Chris) and McCall Torres. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, Jazmyn, Noah, Frankie, Jesias, Jaiden, Miyah, Aminah, Miguel Jr., Faith, Chris Jr., Isaiah, Timothy, Jalyssa and Saliyah.

Cori will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of loved ones. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff at Inspira Health for all they did for Cori and the great care they provided. The family would also like to thank friends and relatives for their love and support during this difficult time. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11am at the Christian Love Church, 503 Birch St. Vineland, NJ 08360.
