Celebrating the Life of Daisy Guadalupe

July 21, 1963 – September 5, 2026

Daisy Guadalupe, age 63 of Vineland, was born Daisy Padilla on July 21, 1963, in Queens, New York, to Rueben Padilla and Elizabeth Atiles and lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, service, and love.

Daisy’s love story with her husband, Moses Guadalupe Sr., began at Atiles Church, where Moses was playing the piano. Somewhere between church, music, and even playing tag after service, a connection began that would grow into a beautiful relationship spanning more than 40 years. Together, Daisy and Moses built not only a marriage, but a family, a home, a ministry, and a lasting legacy centered around their faith in God.

Daisy loved Jesus, and her faith was reflected in the way she lived. She served on the worship team and, alongside Moses, helped instill in their children a love for music, worship, and using their gifts to serve God. The seeds of faith they planted continue today through their children and grandchildren.

Caring for others was also at the heart of who Daisy was. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and served at the Vineland Developmental Center. Her compassion extended well beyond her profession. Daisy was a natural caregiver—someone who gave, served, helped, and showed up for the people she loved. She and Moses were known for their generosity and willingness to help others.

Above all, Daisy treasured her family. She was the loving wife of Moses Guadalupe Sr. and the proud mother of Natasha Jenkins, Moses Guadalupe Jr., and Melanie Peraza.

She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Madison Galafá, Isabella Galafá, Victoria Jenkins, Anaya Jenkins, Autumn Guadalupe, Aaron Guadalupe, and Moses Jeremiah Guadalupe.

Daisy’s legacy can be found in the faith she planted, the family she loved, the people she cared for, the music she helped cultivate, and the countless lives touched by her kindness and generosity.

Her family will remember her not simply for what she accomplished, but for what she placed inside the people she loved—faith, strength, compassion, generosity, and a love for Jesus.

Although her earthly journey has come to an end, Daisy’s legacy continues through her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and every person whose life was made better because she was here.

Daisy was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, September 10, 2026  from 9:00-10:00 AM, followed by her Celebration of Life service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, in the Rock of Salvation Church 513 E. Grape Street, Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
