Dalila Custodio, age 84 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Dalila was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Marcelino and Rumalda (Custodio) Cortes and has been a Vineland resident since 1960. Prior to her retirement, Dalila worked as a seamstress for various clothing companies for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and crocheting. Dalila also loved to collect dolls and share time with her family. Dalila was predeceased by her devoted husband Miguel A. Custodio Sr. in 1988 and by her 2 brothers; Salvador Cortes and Cristobal Cortes. Dalila is survived by her 2 cherished sons; Miguel "Mike" A. Custodio Jr. and wife Nilda of Vineland and Orlando Custodio of Hammonton. Her 2 granddaughters; Ashley Marie Custodio and Amy Sue Custodio, both of Vineland. Her brother Laureno Cortes of Springfield, FL. and her sister Lucy Perez of Roseland, NJ. And also by several nieces, nephews, her very close family friend Elizabeth Romero of Vineland and her dog, Molly. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd at 11:00 am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery.
