Daniel Perez, age 83 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at home. Daniel was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico to the late Perfecto and Gertrudis (Medina) Perez and was a Vineland resident for most of his life. Prior to retirement, he worked in the maintenance department for Manischewitz Foods of Vineland and also for National Freight in the warehouse. Daniel attended the First Presbyterian Church of Vineland. He enjoyed gardening and was a San Francisco Giants Baseball fan. He was predeceased by his wife Emerida Ocasio in 1989. Daniel is survived by his 2 devoted daughters; Janet Romero and Lidia Perez, both of Vineland. 3 grandchildren; Anthony Romero and wife Jaime of Vineland, Vanessa Romero of Vineland and John Martinez of Miami, Fl. 4 great-grandchildren; Anthony C. Romero, Antonio J. Romero, Gabriel A. Romero and Tatum Lee Saunders, all of Vineland. The funeral service will be held on Thursday November 1, 2012 at 11:00am at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
