David Borrero, age 65 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 21, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Lares, Puerto Rico to the late Aurelio Borrero and Alejandrina Rodriguez, David moved to New Jersey around the age of 13. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a taxi cab driver with Yellow Cab of Vineland, where he was able to talk with and be of service to many in the community. David was devoted to serving God and his church as a member of the Chestnut Assembly of God Church of Vineland. He loved and cared for his wife Yvette and his family immensely and truly cherished the time he shared with them. David was full of jokes and enjoyed sharing a smile with everyone, he looked forward to going to the movies with the boys and breakfast with the girls.

He was predeceased by his baby boy Isaiah, his sister Maria Cruz, his brothers, Samuel Borrero and Eduardo Borrero and by his step-father William Santiago.

David is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Yvette LaTorre of Vineland. His beloved children; Emily Borrero and husband Miguel Guerrido, David Borrero Jr and wife Melissa, Aramis Lee Borrero, Jamie Lynn Montanez and husband Eddie Montanez, all of Vineland, Robert Laughlin and wife Lorena of Florida, Allison LaTorre of Vineland, George Morales, Kimberly Morales and Alexio Silkwolf, all of Massachusetts, Celestino Morales and Michelle Rodriguez, both of Vineland. Along with his 15 cherished grandchildren, his great-granddaughter Rubielys Alvarez-Guerrido, 8 siblings and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Chestnut Assembly of God Church, 2554 E Chestnut Ave, Vineland, with Pastor Tony Cotto officiating.  Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.

An evening viewing will be in the church on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm and returning on Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 am at church.
