Rupert Mills, age 58, of Vineland New Jersey, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He passed away at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, N.J.

Rupert was born December 29, 1962 in Clarendon, Jamaica. He was the son of Curdel Mills and Fitz-Albert Mills.  A resident of Vineland for over 20 years, Rupert migrated from Jamaica to New Jersey in the mid-1980s, and he worked in environmental services for Harrah's Casino for over 20 years. He is also a member and Deacon of the One Love Gospel Ministries.

Hobbies include gardening, cooking and enjoying social events with his church family. Rupert is survived by two children, one grandchild, seven sisters, and five brothers.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Miracle Temple COGIC Church, 1409 E. Main St. Millville. The viewing will take place from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Church. Rupert will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery on Saturday, following the services.
