IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Delores "Dee"
J. Kurchock
May 21, 1938 – April 23, 2025
With a heavy heart we mourn the loss of our beloved mother Delores "Dee" Kurchock, age 86 of Franklinville, NJ, who passed away April 23, 2025, after complications of a long illness.
She was the driving force of our family and will be deeply missed as she reunites with the heavenly father and her departed friends and family members.
Dee was one of three children born to Julia Butenewicz Kaser and Henery Kaser. Her siblings included Lenard (deceased) and Julie Kaser. The family lived in Philadelphia, PA, for several years before moving to Franklinville, NJ. Dee was a loving wife to her first husband, Lewis F. Reynolds, for 23 years, during which they had two children—Bryan H. Reynolds and Dawn R. Reynolds. After the death of her first husband, Dee met Paul Kurchock, and they were married for 14 years before his passing.
At Clayton High School, she loved playing softball and being in plays. Later, she was an avid bowler on her team "The Pussy Cats". Mom had many talents, she was a beautiful artist and painter as well as an amazing seamstress. She would get appointed to design wedding dresses for her family and friends and was the designated go to for hemming and altering needs. Later on, Dee developed a penchant for going to the casinos where she had to wear her "sparkles" for a night on the town! Her favorite games were the poker slots where she would go with her husband Paul, Bryan, or her sister Julie. Those two would zip around like bees around a hive, if you didn't pay attention they were gone.
For employment, Dee worked at Wheaton Glass as a secretary, then was a sales associate and an interior designer at Community Furniture in Franklinville and Weir Furniture in Glassboro. She later worked as a manager for Motor Oil City in Malaga.
Delores is survived by her children and her grandson Kyan Reynolds, as well as her sister Julie Jess. Along with her nieces and nephews; Melissa Jess Larro, Tina Jess Hayden and Tim Jess, Richard Kaser, Nancy Rodi Stanek and James Dean. Along with many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Nativity Church, Parish of St. Michael the Archangel, 2677 Delsea Dr. Franklinville, NJ. Following the Mass, Dee will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dee may be made to the family for her medical expenses.
Condolences may be shared with the family at www.wbfuneralhome.com
