Dolores E. Brown ( nee Donato), age 95 of Vineland, passed away suddenly and peacefully, with family by her side, on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

Dolores was born on October 10, 1928 in Vineland, NJ to the late Frank and Louise (Bonacchi) Donato and was a lifelong resident of Vineland. She grew up on the family apple farm and later earned a position with a financial firm where she met her husband Jerry Brown. Together, they had 2 children; Michael and Vanessa.

Dolores always had a kind word, smile and helping hand for everyone. She was an amazing cook and loved to garden, knit and crochet. Dolores made many blankets and scarves that she gave to whomever needed or wanted one, or just as personal unique gifts.

Dolores was a woman that was loved by many. Her family was her world, and each member knew how much they were loved and cherished by her. She will be sadly missed by her remaining family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Jerry Brown in 2010 and by her son Michael in 1998.

Dolores is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Vanessa (Brown) McCabe and her husband Justin of Ocean City, NJ. Her brother Frank Donato (Mary) of Buena Vista Township, NJ, and by her sister Elena Caterina of Minotola, NJ. Along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 16th at 11:00 am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Church of St. Isidore, 1655 Magnolia Rd. Vineland. Family and friends may gather from 10:00-11:00 am at the Church, prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dolores may be made to the foundation created in memory of her son, the Michael John Brown Memorial foundation, 2354 West Ave. Ocean City, NJ 08226.
