Dolores "Dee" Taylor-Horton, 90, of Newfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28 ^th , 2023 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, with her family by her side. Dolores was the daughter of the late Nicholas Gorgo and Anna Alvino. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony "Sonny" Gorgo. For all of her life, Dee called Newfield her home. She loved spending time in the yard, planting flowers, and cooking. For many years, she catered at the Vineland Moose Lodge, where she had also been a member. Dee also loved casinos, playing bingo, and fishing.

Most of Dee's working life was spent as a legal secretary. She started working for her uncle, the late Judge Ernest Alvino. Later, she worked with Edward Gatier, Esq., for close to 40 years. Eddie was more than a boss but a very dear friend.

Dolores is survived by her son, Lee Taylor; daughter-in-law, Charlotte; her granddaughter, Valerie; as well as sister-in-law Nancy Gorgo, her niece Karen, Aunt Ester Alvino, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, Vineland.

The family is planning a small graveside service at a later date.
