Dolores "Doris" Mary Trivelli, nee Burke, age 82, passed away on Friday, January 10th 2014 at the home of her daughter Karen, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Shenandoah, Pa. in 1931 to the late Peter and Stephanie (Stancofsky) Burke and eventually moved with her family to the suburbs of Philadelphia. There she met her husband Michael Trivelli. They started a family and moved to Vineland, where they lived for about 29 years before retiring in DeBary, Fla. Prior to retirement, Doris worked in office management at Safeway Freezers and East Coast Refrigerated Services of Vineland. In retirement, she cultivated a beautiful tropical Garden in her backyard, complete with a walking path, a meditation area and various sculptures. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a gentle and compassionate mother, and a wonderful role model for her children and grandchildren. She is deeply loved by her family and friends. Her absence has left an incredible void and will be missed by all who knew her. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Trivelli. Survivors include children, Karen Duncan of Vineland, Kathleen Hope and her husband Steven of Lake Mary, Fla., Dorie Hurban of Buena Vista Twp., Cheryl Trivelli and her husband Robert Charles of Baltimore, MD., and Michael Trivelli and his wife Brenda of Lake Mary, Fla. Also survived by nine grandchildren, Donald, Kristina, Steve, Brandon, Nicole, Karl, Allison, Daniel and Samantha. And three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Caylee and Annabelle. Visitation and services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 12th from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, Vineland. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
