Dominick Sansalone, age 78 of Pittsgrove, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in SJ Healthcare, RMC. Dominick was born in Vineland to the late Giuseppe and Margaret (Fennelli) Sansalone and was a resident of Pittsgrove for the past 33 years. He was the owner/operator of Dom's Heating and Air Conditioning Service for over 20 years. Dom was a member of the Bridgeton VFW #1795 and past president of the Bridgeton Area #2127, and also the NJ State President of the F.O.E. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, cooking, Karaoke, yard sales and especially sharing time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by one brother, Nicholas Sansalone and three sisters, Millie Parisi, Katherine Mathis and Josephine Gardelli. Dominick is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Karen (Resetar) Sansalone of Pittsgrove. 3 daughters; Deborah Aikens (Steve) of Tucson, Az., Donna Briggs (Keith) of Pittsgrove and Margaret Carter of Savannah, Ga. His stepson, Christopher Stanek (Jean) of Bridgeton, and stepdaughter, Nicole Waldie (Todd) of Hammonton. Also by 2 brothers; Frank Sansalone (Laura) of Vineland and Lou Sansalone (Terri) of Buena. 3 sisters; Rose Skipper (Bob) of Vineland, Vera DiSalvia and Mary Gordon, all of Vineland. 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 14, 2011 with Rev. Sharp officiating at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. The viewing will be on Friday from 9:00-11:00am at the funeral home.
