Obituary

Donald M. Cooper, age 89 of Mizpah, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 1, 2017 at home, after an extended illness.

Donald was born in Ashburn, Missouri to the late Herbert and Mary (Foehringer) Cooper and lived in Mizpah most of his life. He served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War.  Prior to retirement, he was a finish carpenter for Pacemaker Yachts Corporation for 25 years. Donald loved fishing, boating, camping and the outdoors.

He was predeceased by a son, Dean Philip Cooper and two sisters, Margaret Cooper and Barbara Dougherty.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Carmela (Gullo) Cooper of Mizpah, his son, Don S. Cooper DC and wife Heidi of Mays Landing and daughter, Sandra Russell and husband Robert of Hammonton. Also 4 grandchildren, Jason Cooper of Ventnor, Justin Cooper of San Jose, Calif., Kristin Cooper of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Jenna Horton of Pitman and one sister, Carolyn Teeter of Sun City, Fla.

Funeral services will be private.
